At Cafe Marie-Jeanne, the all-day restaurant from Chef Michael Simmons, wife Val Szafranski, and Sommelier Jamie McLennan, you can find good food and a good time at any hour of the day.

In the daytime we try to keep it pretty “brunchy” and we have anything on the menu from super accessible items like eggs, or toast and jam, to items that are a little more interesting like crispy pig tails & onion jam. It’s not uncommon to find four different types of fish eggs on the menu.

Often times we come up with a dish for the dinner menu, like Duck Frites, and think “why wait until it’s dark to have this?”. There are people who may want to eat this for breakfast and we want them to have that option so we keep it on the menu all day long.

We don’t want you to feel like some of the “rules” that might exist in the outside world are governing you while you dine with us. It’s our goal to get people to let loose a little bit and feel like you’re among friends; this vibe is important to us here at Cafe Marie-Jeanne.

Like, whoa. A refreshing concept that dares to be different and totally nails it.

You won’t want to leave the restaurant without getting a meat and cheese plate. The house-made pâté and foie gras terrine is both rich and smooth, served with slices of bread, mustard, olives and jelly. Cheeses include a rotating selection of hard cheeses like mimolette and softer varieties like delice du jura.
